A night at the Andaz Delhi set one reviewer back 11,025 rupees (about $116) with breakfast included — closer to $134 once Delhi's 18% hotel tax kicks in. Was it worth it? Mostly yes, if your trip is built around a flight.

The hotel sits in Aerocity, the cluster of hotels, offices and restaurants near Indira Gandhi International Airport. For catching an early or late flight, the location is hard to beat: the Delhi Aerocity metro station connects to the Airport Express line, though Uber is cheap and plentiful. As a base for sightseeing, though, it's a poor pick — getting into the old city means battling Delhi traffic, and Aerocity's polished restaurant strips feel nothing like the older neighborhoods most visitors come to see.

The rooms run 300–400 square feet, and the reviewer was upgraded to a runway-facing king room. Standout touches include a full-wall couch, an espresso machine, and a genuinely generous complimentary non-alcoholic minibar — truffle banana chips, fig cookies, and local drinks like Aam Panna (a tangy green mango juice; one masala-flavored option apparently didn't make the cut). Bathrooms have walk-in showers with bulk dispensers and a separate water closet.

Food is a real strength. AnnaMaya, the all-day restaurant and food hall, leans on locally sourced Indian and international dishes and runs from 6:30 am to 2 am daily. The included breakfast buffet covers Indian dishes, eggs, pastries, fruit and live cooking stations — fresh juices and a biscoff pastry got high marks, though coffee drew criticism. Expect crowds: at 9:30 am there was a wait for tables that cleared by 10:30. Elsewhere, Soul Pantry serves flatbread pizzas and salads run by an all-women kitchen team, and the lobby's Juniper Bar specializes in gin, with 40 gin and tonic infusions. Room service runs 24 hours.

Facilities cover the essentials: an outdoor pool (6 am–8 pm), a 24-hour gym with new TechnoGym equipment, and a chakra-themed spa with a sauna and steam room the reviewer used morning and night. Service was consistently warm, though the breakfast rush revealed some understaffing.

The verdict: this is rated the nicest of Hyatt's Delhi properties, even if the Hyatt Regency edges it on location and amenities. For World of Hyatt members with a late arrival or early departure, it's an easy call.
