click.holiday is a daily digest of travel and holiday reporting from around the world. We read a wide set of travel publications, magazines and independent writers every few hours, pick the stories a holidaymaker would want to know about, and write a short brief of each one. Every brief names and links the original reporting.
What we cover
Five things: unusual and undiscovered destinations, travel and airline news, resorts, hotels and new openings, inspiration and trip ideas, and adventure travel. Every story is also placed on the map, so you can follow one country or one region rather than the whole world.
How a story gets here
- Discovery. A small crawler reads the public RSS feeds of the publications we follow. It identifies itself and keeps its request volume low. How we gather content.
- Selection. Stories are filtered for relevance to travellers. Trade news that only matters inside the industry is left out.
- The brief. An editorial model drafts a brief in our own words and structure, 300 to 600 words, checked automatically for originality against the source. It is not a copy and it is not a summary of the whole article: it is what a traveller needs, with the source linked for the rest.
- Plan it. Where it helps, we add a short practical note on the best months to go, getting there, and rough cost. This is general guidance and should be checked before booking.
- Review. Editors can hold, amend or remove any story from the publishing queue, and do so when a brief is wrong or a source asks.
Editorial policy
- Credit, always. Every brief names its source and links to the original article. We do not reproduce source text, photographs are used as small preview thumbnails with the source credited, and we remove any on request.
- No invented facts. Briefs may only contain facts supported by the source. Practical notes are marked as general guidance.
- Independence. Nothing here is paid placement. Advertising, when it appears, is labelled. We do not sell or take commission on anything a story mentions.
- Corrections. If a brief is inaccurate, tell us via the contact page with the story link. We fix or withdraw it, usually the same day.
- Publishers. If you would rather we did not use your feed, one email is enough and it stops.
Who is behind it
click.holiday is run by a small editorial and engineering team. It began in 2026 with the idea that travel news is scattered across hundreds of good publications and nobody has time to read them all. We would rather point you to the best of them than keep you here.
