K-beauty fans in Singapore have a short window to stock up on samples: Olive Young, Korea's biggest beauty retailer, has set up a pop-up inside Sephora at ION Orchard, running 8th to 14th October 2026, daily from 10am to 10pm. Entry is free, and the freebie list is generous if you're willing to play along with a few steps.

The pop-up showcases eight Korean brands — beplain, BIOHEAL BOH, Cell Fusion C, Dr.Althea, HEVEBLUE, make p:rem, ma:nyo and REJURAN Cosmetics — organised into four skincare theme stations: Slow-Aging, Barrier-Support, Pores/Blemishes and Hydration, with 24 products on display. You can test everything, and the interactive K-Beauty Edit Cards at each station have small tricks built in: spray water on one to reveal brands, scratch another, tilt a third to watch wrinkles vanish.

The headline feature is a free skin analysis. To get one, grab an activity pamphlet, follow Olive Young Global on Instagram and DM the account the pop-up's name — show the sent message to staff to get a punch on your card. If there's a queue you'll scan a QR code and get a WhatsApp ping when it's your turn, so you can keep browsing. At the counter, staff photograph your face and scan your nose and cheeks with a device, then a short questionnaire on concerns, gender and age group produces instant results flagging things like dark circles or moisture levels. Makeup remover is on hand if you arrive with a full face on.

Then comes the fun bit: the sample scoop. Complete a short survey via QR code on your pamphlet, show proof at the counter, and you get one scoop-and-fill of as many skincare samples as you can fit. Tip circulating from early visitors — following Olive Young Global on Instagram apparently scores you a bigger scoop.

If you're buying rather than browsing, there's a $7 Sephora voucher valid with a $50 minimum spend on Olive Young products at Sephora ION Orchard. Hit that threshold and you'll also walk away with a free Olive Young x Sephora keycap and tote bag, while stocks last.

Getting there is simple: Orchard MRT, Exit 5 connects directly into ION Orchard, and the pop-up sits at B4 just outside Watsons and Adidas. Since it's dead centre in Singapore's main shopping district, it slots easily into a weekend shopping run — but go early if the skin analysis matters to you, as queues build later in the day.

For travellers passing through Singapore this week, it's a low-effort, no-cost stop that doubles as a proper skincare consultation — useful if you've been curious about K-beauty but overwhelmed by where to start. For locals, it's basically a free haul opportunity with a voucher sweetener on top. Either way, it's gone after 14th October.
