PortMiami has published the roster of ships that will call at the world's busiest cruise port over the 2026-27 season, and it reads like a who's who of modern cruising — from expedition yachts to mega-ships making their debut.
The season opens in October 2026 with Ponant Explorations' L'Austral and Explora Journeys' Explora III, and the arrivals keep coming through the winter. November brings Orient Express' Corinthian, Silversea's Silver Shadow, the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's Ilma and Emerald Cruises' Emerald Sakara. December is arguably the most glamour-heavy month: Silversea's Silver Ray and Silver Dawn, Azamara's Quest, and the first yacht from Four Seasons Yachts, the Four Seasons I.
Into 2027, Margaritaville at Sea's Beachcomber and Silversea's Silver Nova arrive in January, with Silver Spirit and Carnival Firenze following in February. The big mainstream additions land in the summer: Norwegian Aura in June and Royal Caribbean's Hero of the Seas in August.
Port officials were keen to frame the lineup as proof of Miami's grip on the cruise market. Port director and CEO Jonathan Daniels said the port's momentum reflects long-standing partnerships with cruise brands and its role in shaping the cruise experience, while Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava noted that cruising began in Miami and continues to drive tourism and economic growth across the county.
There's practical advice in the announcement too. PortMiami is asking departing passengers to park in the garage or surface lot assigned to their specific ship, and to show up only at their scheduled embarkation time rather than early. Entrance points matter as well: if you're sailing from Terminals AA, A, B, C or D, you enter via the PortMiami Tunnel; for Terminals E, F, J or V, you use the PortMiami Bridge. Getting that wrong adds unnecessary stress on departure morning.
For anyone weighing a 2026-27 cruise, this lineup is a good snapshot of where the industry is heading. The luxury and small-ship end — Ponant, Silversea, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton — is crowding into Miami alongside the mass-market giants, which means more choice at every price point sailing from a single gateway. If a small-ship experience is on your wishlist, the winter months are the window; if you want the newest big-ship hardware, hold out for Norwegian Aura or Hero of the Seas in summer 2027.
Either way, booking out of Miami next season comes with more options than ever — and a smoother start if you check your terminal and entrance before you drive.
