Luxury cruise operator Scenic Group is taking its pitch straight to American living rooms. Starting Sunday, November 8, 2026, the company will air a 10-episode series on CNBC, running weekly at 11 AM Eastern / 8 AM Pacific until January 24, 2027 — and missed episodes land on the Scenic and Emerald YouTube channels the following day.

The series covers both of the group's brands and a wide slice of its route map. It opens with two episodes on Emerald Yacht Cruises in Greece (November 8 and 15), then moves through Emerald's Rhine river cruises, Scenic's journeys on the Danube and through France's Bordeaux wine region, and Scenic Eclipse's ultra-luxury expedition sailing in Antarctica. Later episodes cover Europe's Christmas markets, Emerald's South of France river cruises and Caribbean yacht voyages, and a Scenic Mediterranean Discovery Yacht feature to close out the run on January 24.

Robert Castro, Scenic Group's vice president of marketing for the USA and LATAM, framed the campaign as a way to let viewers see what a sailing is actually like before booking — and to highlight the choice between two fairly different products: intimate Emerald yachts and river ships versus the pricier, more expedition-focused Scenic Eclipse.

Why should a traveller care? Because this doubles as a tidy season-planning guide. If a Mediterranean yacht holiday in Greece or a Christmas markets river cruise is on your wishlist, the episode schedule tells you roughly when those trips sell best — and each episode is essentially a free, long-form preview of a specific itinerary. Watching on YouTube after broadcast means you can skim the destinations that interest you and skip the rest, which is a lot easier than sitting through a sales call or a trade show.

It also signals where Scenic is pushing inventory: small-ship sailing in Greece and the Med, classic European rivers (Rhine, Danube, Bordeaux, the South of France), warm-water yacht cruising in the Caribbean, and true expedition travel to Antarctica. That last one is the serious-ticket item — Scenic Eclipse voyages to Antarctica sit at the very top of the cruise market, and a national TV campaign suggests the brand expects strong US demand for it heading into the 2027 polar season.

For anyone comparing luxury river cruises against small ocean yachts, this series is a rare chance to see both back to back, free, without committing to a brochure or a booking site. Check CNBC on Sunday mornings through January, or queue up the YouTube uploads the next day.
