Chase is running its biggest-ever welcome offers on two no-annual-fee business cards, and the clock is ticking. The Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited are each paying $1,000 bonus cash back after you spend $8,000 in the first four months — but the deal ends September 17 at 9 a.m. ET.
Why should points collectors care? If you also hold a card with access to Chase's transfer partners — think Ink Business Preferred or the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business — that $1,000 could stretch further. Per The Points Guy's September 2026 valuations, the bonus can be worth up to $2,050 once you pool the rewards and transfer them to airline and hotel partners.
Before you apply, though, know Chase's eligibility minefield. The famous 5/24 rule applies: if you've opened five or more personal credit cards in the past 24 months, you're likely out of luck. Business cards like these don't count toward that total, but Chase still factors it into approval decisions.
There's a tighter rule specific to the no-annual-fee Ink family: you can earn a welcome bonus on the Ink Cash or the Ink Unlimited, but not both — even if you earned a bonus on one years ago, before the rules changed, or closed the account long ago. You probably also can't snag a second bonus on the same card. Yes, you can hold both cards simultaneously; you just won't get paid twice.
Don't have an LLC? Not a dealbreaker. Chase accepts side hustles — freelancing, pet sitting, ride-hailing driving, reselling — as qualifying business activity for these small-business cards.
So which card to pick? They earn the same bonus, so it comes down to spending patterns. The Ink Business Cash rewards office supply stores plus utilities, dining and gas (the latter two with a spending cap), suiting businesses with predictable, category-heavy spending. The Ink Business Unlimited pays 5% cash back on Lyft (through September 30, 2027) and a flat 1.5% on everything else, which suits mixed or shifting spend.
One last warning: applying triggers a hard pull on your credit, so it's worth confirming you clear Chase's requirements before pulling the trigger. If you do, this is the best window either card has ever offered — and it closes September 17.
