Adults-only resorts are nothing new, but the flight there has always been the weak link. JetBlue Vacations and Virgin Voyages reckon they've fixed that with "Do Not Disturb", a package where the kid-free zone begins at the departure gate.
The concept is simple: a dedicated adults-only JetBlue flight from New York's JFK to Fort Lauderdale, a transfer, and then four nights aboard Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady. The sailing runs 4-8 March 2027 and stops at Key West plus Virgin Voyages' Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas.
The ship itself is a good draw. Brilliant Lady launched in 2025 and has just 60 cabins, which makes it a small, boutique-scale vessel by cruise standards. Food is clearly the headline: more than 20 restaurants and bars, including Spanish restaurant Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, Mexican venue Pink Agave, and Korean barbecue spot Gunbae. Between meals there's a spa, a rooftop pool and live entertainment across several venues.
JetBlue's framing is that switching off should start well before boarding. Jamie Perry, president of Paisly, JetBlue's travel site, said the company wanted the whole journey — flight, transfer and cruise — built around adults actually getting uninterrupted time away. Virgin Voyages has been adults-only since its launch, so this partnership effectively extends that promise to the hours most holidays leave unguarded.
Why it matters: for anyone who has paid for an adults-only escape only to spend a flight surrounded by restless children, this is the first package we've seen that sells the entire chain of travel as child-free. It's aimed squarely at couples and groups of friends who want a short, low-effort break — one booking covers flights, transfers and a compact Bahamas-and-Florida itinerary. Watch this space too, because if the March 2027 sailing sells well, expect other airlines and cruise lines to copy the formula.
