The Singapore Grand Prix turns the whole city into a ticket queue, and not everyone wants in. DBS and POSB have rolled out a batch of cardholder offers timed to F1 weekend, built around the stay-home alternative: watch the race on TV, eat well, and kit out the living room while you're at it.

Food delivery is the obvious starting point. Cardholders get $10 off foodpanda orders and $4 off GrabFood, so a watch-party spread arrives without anyone leaving the sofa. If you'd rather eat out before the broadcast, there's 10% off the total bill at Harry's with a minimum spend of $70, and $2 off at KFC when you spend at least $15.

The bigger savings sit in online shopping. On Shopee, DBS/POSB cards and PayLah! take $25 off a $250 spend, while the bank's Instalment Payment Plan (IPP) stretches that to $35 off $400 — handy if you're buying a TV, projector or sound bar to make the engines sound less like a distant hum. Lazada offers up to $18 off with the cards, and TikTok Shop throws in an extra $2 during its Payday Sales. IPP is available across all three platforms, letting big-ticket purchases be paid down in instalments rather than in one hit. Zalora joins in with 15% off orders over $200 via IPP — relevant if official team merchandise and race-day outfits are on your list.

Groceries and party supplies are covered too. Selected debit cards — the POSB Everyday Card, PAssion POSB Debit Card and DBS Visa Debit Card — get $8 off an $80 spend at Giant IMM and Giant Tampines Hypermarket on weekends, an offer running until 25 October 2026. For doorstep delivery, The Meat Club gives $20 off sitewide with free shipping over $80, while Little Farms Online offers $10 off a $150 spend plus free same-day delivery above $100.

Why does a travel site care? The Singapore GP is one of Asia's biggest sports-tourism events, and hotel and grandstand prices spike accordingly. If you're in Singapore for race weekend — a visitor on a budget, an expat, or a local hosting friends in town for the race — these deals effectively subsidise your weekend, whether that's a grocer run before a rooftop gathering or a bigger screen for the neighbourhood watch party. The fine print matters: most offers are card-specific, several carry minimum spends, and the grocery deal is weekends-only. Not a DBS/POSB customer? The bank is dangling sign-up gifts worth up to $680 for new cardholders, though whether a credit card application counts as a race-weekend bargain is your call.

Either way, it's a reminder that during Singapore's biggest race weekend, some of the best seats are the ones you already own.
