TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards are built entirely on traveller reviews, so its 2026 list of the world's most popular tours is essentially a global word-of-mouth shortlist. This year's top ten spans eight countries and covers everything from a 2.5-hour history stroll to a four-day mountain trek — proof that the appetite for guided experiences cuts across every budget and travel style.

The list opens with the Unvanquished Tour in Porto, a pay-what-you-can walking tour that packs 2,000 years of Portuguese history into 2.5 hours through the northern city's centre. In Japan, the Peaceful Hiroshima & Miyajima day bus tour runs eight hours and takes in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park plus the red torii gates of Itsukushima Shrine, with guide commentary and audio support included. Barcelona's one-day whirlwind covers Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia in a single eight-hour sweep.

A few shorter experiences made the cut too. Amsterdam's all-inclusive 90-minute canal cruise by Captain Jack serves cocktails and snacks as you glide past the Rijksmuseum and Skinny Bridge — heated interiors keep it running through the colder October-to-March months. Liverpool's Beatles Magical Mystery Tour is a two-hour coach trip with photo stops at Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, Paul McCartney's childhood home and The Cavern Club. And Berlin's two-hour Third Reich and Cold War walking route threads together Checkpoint Charlie, Hitler's Bunker and the Brandenburg area.

London represents with a 3.5-hour historical pub tour that hops between centuries-old taverns and alehouses with local ales and plenty of legends along the way. The longest European entry is a monster 11-12 hour day trip from Krakow to Zakopane in the Polish mountains, combining a cable car ride, a soak in the Chocholow thermal baths, and smoked cheese and vodka tastings.

Two big-ticket adventures round out the list. In Peru, the four-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu — returning by Vistadome train — comes with local guides, porters and meals handled, so the rugged route stays achievable. And in Vietnam, the Amanda Cruise offers a boutique two-day, one-night (or three-day) all-inclusive sailing through Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays, reaching quieter corners like Surprise Cave on a small five-star vessel.

What makes this list useful is the range: half of these are half-day or shorter add-ons you can slot into an existing city break, while the Inca Trail and Ha Long cruise are holidays in their own right. Review-driven rankings also flag practical things — whether a tour runs year-round, what's actually included, and how it's paced — which matters more than glossy brochure copy when you're booking.
