Regent Seven Seas Cruises has laid out what its newest ship will do after dark, and it's a bigger programme than the line has ever staged at sea. Seven Seas Prestige, which kicks off its maiden voyage from Miami on 28 December 2026, will carry six original productions, an enlarged live music setup, and two debut concepts: The Broadway Experience and a speaker series called Luminaries at Sea.

The six in-house shows come from Prestige Production Company, led by NCLH entertainment executives Bryan White and Kai Alan Carrier, with 781 costumes and accessories curated for the run. The lineup leans glam and varied: Viva Vedette is a showgirl revue channeling the Copacabana and Folies Bergère; Riviera Luxe blends current hits with retro classics; Rewind is an all-'80s concert; and Allegro mixes opera and Broadway ballads with pop arrangements. Those four play in the Constellation Theater.

The other two break the mould. Golden Hour and Golden Night turn the Starlight Atrium into a two-part event — pre-dinner Champagne, live music and photos, then a post-dinner dance party. Tipples & Tales: A Zacapa Rum Voyage pairs a rum tasting in the Meridian Lounge with maritime storytelling, live music and theatre, written by T. Scott Ross.

The headline grabber for many guests will be The Broadway Experience, launching on 20 January 2027. Real Broadway and West End performers will appear at the Constellation Theater backed by a live orchestra, with Kerry Ellis (Elphaba in London's Wicked), Tony nominee Charl Brown (Smokey Robinson in Motown: The Musical) and Keri René Fuller (Elphaba on Broadway) already announced. The programme rolls out to other Regent ships later in 2027.

There's more beyond the mainstage. The live music programme — Regent's largest — spans the Prestige, Meridian and Observation Lounges, adding an onboard DJ, a jazz duo and a string duo to the usual cocktail pianist and contemporary duo. Luminaries at Sea will bring authors, explorers and entertainers aboard for conversations; fleet-wide names already confirmed include Grammy winner Melissa Manchester and Kathy Reichs, the forensic anthropologist behind the Bones novels.

The framing from Regent is clear: entertainment woven into the voyage rather than an after-dinner add-on. For luxury cruise travellers, that means the ship's evenings are now part of the selling point — a consideration if you're weighing Prestige against rivals like Silversea or Seabourn, where headline entertainment tends to be quieter. Bookings for the maiden season are open via Regent's website.
