Corendon Airlines has opened bookings for its summer 2027 schedule, and there are two genuinely new names on the list: Istanbul and the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The announcement came out of the carrier's annual Get Together event with business partners in Amsterdam, and the full programme is bookable now.
The Bulgaria expansion is the headline for beach holiday fans. From 15 May 2027, the first flight will link Cologne/Bonn with Varna, with services building up progressively to as many as eight flights a week across Varna and Burgas. Both cities act as gateways to Bulgaria's seaside resort strip, which trades on long sandy beaches and a broad spread of hotels at prices that still undercut much of the western Mediterranean. It is Corendon's first time serving the Bulgarian coast.
Istanbul follows a few weeks later. From 1 July 2027 the airline will fly twice weekly from both Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn to Istanbul Airport. The timing is no accident: the city hosts the European Games in 2027 and welcomes Formula 1 back, so expect demand and hotel rates to climb. Anyone eyeing a city-break-plus-Bosphorus trip would be wise to book accommodation early.
UK travellers are not forgotten, though the offer is consolidation rather than expansion. Corendon will keep flying to Antalya twice weekly from Glasgow and three times weekly from both Manchester and London Stansted. UK country manager Matthew Carpenter framed 2027 as a year of "disciplined consolidation", pointing to the tough backdrop of high fuel costs, geopolitical uncertainty and shifting demand. In plain terms: same reliable Antalya routes, but no rash new capacity from the UK market just yet.
Elsewhere, the existing network of Turkish, Greek, Egyptian and Spanish resorts continues as before, and the previously announced Curaçao service starts in December 2026 as a bridge into the 2027 season.
On the service side, a passenger survey from the current summer season delivered solid numbers: 87% rated the airline positively for value for money and nearly 90% said they would fly with Corendon again. Flights can be booked via the Corendon website and app, through travel agencies, or bundled via partner tour operators.
