If you've been toying with the idea of a cheap, easy Bahamas-style getaway, Margaritaville at Sea has just made the maths very tempting. The cruise line has launched its Black Friday Offer early — booking opens October 14 and runs through November 3, 2026 — and the headline number is big: 65 percent off cruise fares. That's actually better than the deal the line will run on Black Friday itself, which drops to 60 percent.
Prices start at $49 per person, per night, and on select sailings the third and fourth guests in a cabin sail free. Instant savings can reach up to $2,000 depending on the sailing. The discounts don't stop at the fare either — the sale takes up to 55 percent off onboard extras, including the Ultimate Chill Beverage Package, shore excursions and treatments at the St. Somewhere Spa.
The other piece of news is launch pricing for the line's new 2027 Annual Cruise Membership. An extra $200 off brings the starting price to $2,499 for two adults (down from $2,699). That covers a year of unlimited eligible sailings for two in a stateroom up to balcony category, with the option to add kids or friends as third and fourth guests. Members can sail across the whole fleet — the Paradise, the Islander and the Beachcomber, which debuts in 2027 — reaching 22 destinations from four homeports. The sale also introduces optional membership add-ons, like an Express Pass, an unlimited soda package, dinners at JWB Prime Steakhouse, digital photo packages and premium Wi-Fi, so frequent sailors can build the trip they actually want.
On the practical side, Margaritaville at Sea currently sails from Tampa and Palm Beach, with Miami departures starting January 2027 and Galveston, Texas, joining in October 2027. That's a meaningful expansion — Galveston in particular opens the line up to travellers in the middle of the country who'd rather drive to a port than fly to Florida.
Why it matters: Margaritaville at Sea is one of the most budget-friendly short-cruise options out there, and an early-access window that beats the actual Black Friday price is rare. If a 2027 escape is on your radar — or you're curious whether an annual cruise membership makes sense for a family or a couple who sails often — the three weeks from mid-October to early November 2026 are the time to compare numbers. Do the sums on the membership too: at $2,499 for two people and unlimited sailings, a handful of trips in a year could make it cheaper than booking separately.
