P&O Cruises is sweetening the deal on its Caribbean fly-cruise holidays with as much as £600 in extra onboard spending money. The catch is timing: the bonus applies only to bookings made between September 10 and 30, 2026, and covers more than 100 Select Price itineraries sailing between October 23, 2026, and March 18, 2028.

The credit is genuinely flexible once you're aboard. It can go towards specialty dining, spa treatments, shopping or shore excursions, which means you can steer it towards whatever style of cruise you prefer — indulgent sea days, port adventures, or both.

There's a fresh reason to look at the 2027-28 season in particular. Basseterre on St Kitts joins the programme as a new homeport from November 2027, giving P&O a second turnaround point in the region alongside Bridgetown in Barbados. Both ships on the Caribbean run — the Iona and the newer Arvia — will use the two bases, which opens up more itinerary combinations across the eastern islands.

One example of what's on offer: a 14-night Eastern Caribbean Islands fly-cruise on Arvia, departing November 13, 2027. It starts in Bridgetown and calls at Basseterre, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, St Maarten, Fort de France in Martinique and Castries in St Lucia, with an overnight in Antigua and a stop in Grenada before finishing back in Barbados. Prices begin at £2,419 per person for a balcony cabin based on two sharing, and that fare includes the full £600 onboard spend for the cabin.

Flights are part of the package too — economy seats from London Gatwick, plus transfers in Barbados. Full-board meals, entertainment and children's clubs are all included, so the onboard credit and any drinks or specialty meals are genuinely on top of the basics rather than compensating for their absence.

For anyone mulling a winter-sun escape with the logistics handled, this is a straightforward proposition: book inside the September 2026 window, pick a departure through to March 2028, and the spending money lands in your account automatically. The wide sailing window means there's room to choose between shoulder-season prices and peak Christmas or February half-term dates, though the cheapest fares will likely sit outside the school holidays. Families get a decent shout here as well, given the kids' clubs are bundled into the fare.
