If a cruise has been on your wishlist, the next few weeks could be the moment to commit. P&O Cruises has opened its Black Friday sale, with savings of up to £500 per cabin on selected holidays — and it has backed the deal with a price-drop promise designed to remove the usual hesitation about booking early.
The offer runs from 9am on November 5 until midnight on December 1, 2026, and applies to selected sailings booked on Select Price or Early Saver fares departing between March 6, 2027 and October 28, 2028. The headline grabber is the Black Friday Price Drop Guarantee: if the price of an equivalent eligible booking falls at any point during the sale window, P&O will automatically adjust your outstanding balance to the lowest price seen during the promotion. In other words, you don't need to second-guess whether a better deal is coming — the line adjusts it for you.
The itinerary range is broad, covering the Caribbean, Norwegian fjords and the Mediterranean. A few examples show where the value sits. A 14-night Canary Islands and Madeira fly-cruise on Azura starts at £949 per person, sailing roundtrip from Tenerife on March 6, 2027 and calling at Madeira, Fuerteventura, La Palma, an overnight in Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. If Scandinavia is more your thing, Iona's seven-night Norwegian fjords cruise from Southampton on June 19, 2027 starts at £749 per person, with stops in Stavanger, Olden, Hellesylt and Haugesund. For a proper winter escape, Arvia's 14-night Caribbean fly-cruise from Bridgetown, Barbados on February 11, 2028 starts at £1,599 per person and takes in St Kitts, St Maarten, Tortola, Dominica, Antigua, St Lucia and Martinique.
There's also a bonus for families or groups: additional guests sharing the same cabin can sail free on selected off-peak 2027 holidays of six nights or longer, plus selected peak-season 2027 sailings on the adults-oriented Arcadia and Aurora. For a household of four, that could make a substantial dent in the total bill.
Why it matters: cruise pricing moves constantly, and many travellers wait for a better deal only to see fares climb closer to departure. The guarantee flips that logic — book during the window, and if the sale price dips lower before December 1, you get the difference automatically. Combined with the £500-per-cabin discounts and free additional guests on selected sailings, it's one of the more consumer-friendly Black Friday plays from a mainstream cruise line. It's worth acting within the dates, though: the promotion ends at midnight on December 1, 2026, and the guarantee applies only to eligible Black Friday promotional departures booked during that period.
