Riverside Luxury Cruises has rolled out a Black Friday promotion that stacks nicely on top of its existing deals, and the maths gets interesting. The headline offer is 10% off Full Board fares on select 2027 and 2028 river sailings, but because it combines with the line's Early Booking, Long Stay and Repeat Guest discounts, total savings reach up to 43% for returning guests and 38% for new ones on some departures.

The booking window is short: new reservations made between November 23 and December 4, 2026. There's no promo code to fumble with — the discount is applied automatically to eligible sailings, on top of the Early Booking and Long Stay rates already shown online.

Sailed with Riverside before? That's worth another 5% off. And if you want drinks and shore excursions included, you can book the Full Board fare at the discounted rate and then upgrade to the Premium All-Inclusive with Excursions package at the standard $190 per person, per night.

A worked example shows the scale of the savings. The eight-day "Rhine & Main, Europe's Fairytale Waterways" itinerary, sailing throughout 2028, normally costs $5,935 per person on a Full Board basis. Repeat guests pay $5,044.75; first-timers pay $5,341.50. Opt for the full all-inclusive upgrade and the numbers run from $6,374.75 (repeat guests) instead of $7,265. All prices are per person, double occupancy.

Two catches to keep in mind: the deal only applies to sailings of five nights or longer, and Christmas market cruises — traditionally among the most popular and in-demand river itineraries — are excluded. Still, with 2027 and 2028 departures now open, this is a chance to lock in peak-season European river cruising well over a year out at a fraction of the walk-up price.

If a Rhine or Main river trip has been sitting on your wish list, the timing logic is simple: Black Friday deals like this tend to reward people who plan far ahead, and river ships are small, so cabins on popular itineraries and dates sell out rather than get discounted later. Booking during the window means you're choosing your sailing rather than taking what's left.
