Dubai's biggest music festival is shifting its calendar. UNTOLD Dubai, the mega-festival that has quickly become one of the region's headline events, has confirmed its next edition will run for three days from March 19 to 21, 2027. The venue stays the same: Dubai Parks and Resorts.

The move means a longer wait for fans, but organisers say it's deliberate. The extra time will go into building a bigger international line-up, scaling up the stage production and creating new festival areas and experiences designed specifically for the Dubai edition. UNTOLD Universe founder and CEO Bogdan Buta has framed the festival as more than a weekend of music — the ambition is to raise the bar for what a large-scale entertainment event in the region looks like. So if you went before, expect a different (and reportedly larger) beast this time.

For context on the scale: the last edition drew more than 190,000 festivalgoers across six stages, with around 100 artists performing. Names on that bill included Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, J Balvin, Alan Walker, Swae Lee, MEDUZA, YUNGBLUD, Sugababes and Nora Fatehi — a spread covering EDM, hip-hop, Latin pop and more. The 2027 line-up hasn't been announced yet, but expect a similar mix of international superstars across multiple genres.

Tickets are already on sale via untold.ae, district.ae or the District by Zomato app, with prices starting at Dhs350 (roughly £75). If previous editions are anything to go by, early tiers tend to sell through before the line-up drops, so buying blind now is cheaper than waiting for the headline names to be confirmed.

Why should this be on your radar if you're not a die-hard festival fan? Because it's a genuinely good excuse for a Dubai trip in what is arguably the city's best weather window. March sits comfortably outside the brutal summer heat, meaning you can pair long festival days with beach time, desert trips and evenings in Downtown Dubai without melting. Flights and hotels in March are popular but not yet peak-season pricey, and combining a festival weekend with a city break makes for strong value.

Keep an eye out for the line-up announcement — once headline acts are revealed, ticket prices and accommodation rates around those dates tend to move quickly.
