Dubai's cooler months are dining season, and the city's best tables come with a side of Arabian Gulf. A new round-up from What's On Dubai counts 28 beachfront restaurants worth booking, spanning everything from barefoot lunch spots to big-night-out destinations.

The line-up clusters heavily around Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach. Palm West Beach alone holds several strong contenders: boho-chic Koko Bay with skyline views and a globe-spanning menu, Greek-run Kyma under a big canopy, French-Mediterranean La Plage by chef Izu Ani with its own produce market at the heart of the room, and the all-day Australian import Jones The Grocer, handy for families and open from 8am.

Elsewhere on the Palm, Canary Beach at Club Vista Mare brings West Coast cool with sushi, ceviches and an outdoor bar straight onto the sand, while The Maine Beach House takes a New England angle on the same pier. Over at Nikki Beach Resort on Pearl Jumeirah, Bungalo34 does a stripped-parasol Greek-island look and one of the city's best alfresco weekend breakfasts.

If it's romance you're after, Fish at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi lets you pick a whole fish from an ice display and eat Turkish and Greek plates with your feet in the sand. Lucia's at Jumeirah Beach Hotel channels Capri with homemade pasta and Burj Al Arab views, and Cala Vista at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam goes full Amalfi with lemon trees and wood-fired pizza.

Newer and louder options are in the mix too. Casa Playa, freshly opened at Banyan Tree Dubai on Bluewaters, serves Peruvian ceviches and Argentine grills dinner-only, with DJs and live Latin beats on Fridays and Saturdays. Gigi Rigolatto at J1 Beach pairs an Italian menu and Bellini bar with a pool lined by around 40 loungers. And Nammos, the Mykonos export at the Four Seasons, reopened at the end of 2025 after a six-month refresh with the same polished Greek cooking and a private beach.

For something quieter, Casita at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira reopens October 15 for the season, shifting from morning wellness sessions on the sand to sunset cocktails and shisha. Seafood purists have the teak-decked Beach Bar & Grill at One&Only Royal Mirage, while Drift Beach next door does Provençal dishes by a poolside with fully opening windows.

Why it matters: Dubai's beach dining scene rewards planning. Most venues take bookings via Instagram, some (like Casa Playa) open for dinner only, and weekend breakfast slots at places like Bungalo34 fill fast. Whether you want a family lunch, a long brunch or a date night that ends with a DJ, there's a shorefront table here with your name on it.
