Delta's premium SkyMiles Reserve card is running a welcome offer we haven't seen before, and the clock is ticking. Apply before Nov. 4 and you can earn two round-trip Delta Comfort flight certificates plus 50,000 bonus miles after spending $10,000 in your first six months. It's a generous but demanding deal — here's what you need to know.

The certificates are the headline act. Each one covers a round-trip ticket in Delta Comfort (or Main Cabin) on Delta-operated flights within the 48 contiguous US states, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. There are no blackout dates, but eligible seats aren't guaranteed on every flight, you must book at least 21 days out, and all travel has to be booked and flown by Jan. 15, 2028. Expect up to $80 per person in taxes and fees, payable on the Reserve card itself.

So what's it actually worth? TPG values the 50,000 miles at around $600, and the certificates can be worth considerably more each if you'd otherwise pay cash for Comfort fares. One example TPG cites: a round-trip Comfort fare from Miami to Salt Lake City for February 2027 priced at $843 — even after the $80 in fees, that single certificate could save you over $760. If you can extract roughly $450 or more from each certificate, the total offer beats the card's previous best-ever welcome bonus.

A few catches worth flagging. The certificates can't get you to Alaska or Hawaii, and the primary cardholder must be a passenger on any booking made with them. The good news: you don't have to use both on the same trip — one for a family visit, one for a proper holiday, if you like. The $10,000 minimum spend is the real hurdle; if that stretch would force spending you wouldn't otherwise do, the maths stops working.

The card's ongoing perks matter too, especially against its $650 annual fee. Cardholders get an annual companion certificate each renewal year (valid for flights to the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America), 15 Delta Sky Club visits per Medallion Year plus Amex Centurion Lounge access when flying Delta, a 2,500 MQD head start toward status, free checked bags, priority boarding and 15% off award flights. There are also statement credits: up to $200 a year for Delta Stays, $240 for Resy restaurant bookings and $120 for ride-hailing, though enrollment is required for those.

The short version: this is a strong deal for people who already fly Delta a few times a year within the mainland US and can clear the spending requirement comfortably. If you'd use both certificates on trips you were going to book anyway, the combined value could easily top $2,000. If not, the $650 fee will outweigh the perks.

The offer ends Nov. 4, so anyone tempted should decide quickly — and check that certificate seat availability exists on the routes they actually fly before committing.
