Delta flies to Europe from dozens of US cities, but a handful of its airports get just a single transatlantic route. According to Cirium data highlighted by Simple Flying, five airports fall into that camp — and they all funnel travellers towards two SkyTeam hubs: Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

The Florida pair both connect to Amsterdam, KLM's home base and one of Europe's busiest connecting airports. Tampa runs four weekly flights, currently split between the Airbus A330-300 and A330-900neo, with the neo set to take over the route entirely. Orlando also gets the A330-900neo on a daily schedule, though that service is scheduled to end in late March.

The other three one-route airports all point at Paris, where Air France — Delta's SkyTeam partner — offers onward connections across Europe, Africa and beyond. Austin-Bergstrom is the newest name on the list: a daily A330-900neo service to CDG starts in late March with the 2027 summer schedule. Los Angeles to Paris runs daily on an A350-900 through late October, drops to three weekly flights over winter, then returns to daily service in spring. Cincinnati's thrice-weekly Paris flights are switching from the A330-300 to the A330-900neo, and from late March a Boeing 767-400ER takes over with daily frequencies.

For context on Delta's wider network: in November 2026 it plans 1,658 US-Europe flights, second only to United (2,127) and well ahead of American (1,329). The A330-900neo is its workhorse with 568 of those flights. New York-JFK leads its hubs with 521 transatlantic flights, ahead of Atlanta (447), Detroit (181), Boston (148) and Minneapolis (138). The single busiest route that month is Atlanta to London Heathrow at three flights a day.

Why should a traveller care? These one-route cities are essentially handshake routes: Delta keeps a presence, and you get one-stop access to the whole SkyTeam map via Amsterdam or Paris. If you're in Tampa, Austin or Cincinnati and heading to Europe without a major hub of your own, these flights can save a connection stateside. Just book with the schedule quirks in mind — Orlando's Amsterdam service ends in late March, and Austin's Paris route only begins then.
