Disney Cruise Line has pulled back the curtain on Disney Believe, its fourth Wish-class ship, which sails its maiden voyage around the Bahamas and Caribbean on 18 December 2027. Bookings open on 19 October 2026, and the newly revealed venue list makes Believe the 'promise and possibilities'-themed sibling to the Wish, Treasure and Destiny.
The Moana theme runs deep. A giant Moana statue, flanked by Pua and Heihei, will anchor the Grand Hall beneath a chandelier hiding the heart of Te Fiti. Cabins carry artwork from Moana, Coco and The Lion King, and the two-storey, 2,000-square-foot Believe Tower Suite - tucked into the fake funnel - goes full Magic Kingdom with fireworks-shaped lights. Outside, Tinker Bell graces the bow alongside Peter Pan silhouettes, while Buzz Lightyear and Woody 'draw' the ship's name in crayon.
Entertainment is a big draw. Believe will stage a new Encanto musical (yes, you can finally talk about Bruno), plus Tangled: The Musical and Disney Seas the Adventure. A Zootopia-inspired venue called Gazelle will host family trivia and character encounters by day, silent discos and adult-only acts by night, with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde solving a new case in a first-of-its-kind family show.
Dining follows Disney's rotational system across three restaurants: new Frozen-themed Oaken's Table, the animation-museum-style 1923 with over 1,000 drawings and props, and the superhero dinner show Worlds of Marvel. Bars get their own Disney treatment - Sea Notes is a Little Mermaid piano lounge, Wishing Well is a Snow White storybook courtyard, and Skygazers is an observatory pub. The Haunted Mansion Parlour, Quiet Cove and Palo's Steakhouse all return.
Families are well covered. The Oceaneer Club (ages 3-10) has five themed zones including Star Wars: Cargo Bay and a Monsters Inc entrance, while nurseries, tween and teen lofts, and a DJ-boothed hangout cover every age bracket. The 760-foot AquaMouse water ride returns with a new Mickey and Minnie cartoon, and littler ones get a Toy Story splash park with a smoothie bar.
Why it matters: Believe is Disney's answer to families wanting the newest ship experience without the steep price of a debut-year Treasure-class sailing - and if Encanto on stage or a Zootopia-themed night out sounds like your kind of holiday, bookings open well over a year before launch, giving you time to snag a cabin (or the tower suite) early.
