A pub so small it fits inside a festival is on the move again. The Thirsty Toucan, Guinness's miniature Irish pub, has spent 2026 popping up around Dubai — first at Taste of Dubai, then taking over Barracuda when the Premier League season kicked off — and now it has a fresh run of festival appearances lined up for the city's outdoor season.

The concept is simple but fun: a compact bar decked out in Guinness's classic black and gold, reimagined with neon colour and the famous toucan front and centre. Inside, it's proper Irish pub energy — creamy pints, 'Would You Rather' card games, and surprise pop-up performances with an Irish twist. Entry to the pub itself is free; you just need a ticket to whichever festival it's pitched up at.

Here's where to catch it over the next few weekends. First stop is Summer in Nashville on Saturday, October 31, at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre — a country music festival with doors at 2pm and tickets from Dhs175. The very next day, Sunday, November 1, the Toucan lands at Woofstock, the dog-friendly Halloween-weekend event at the same venue, running 3pm to 11pm with tickets from Dhs25 — easily the budget-friendly pick of the line-up.

The following weekend it's Slice DXB on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, from 1pm to 10pm, with tickets starting at Dhs50. The final confirmed stop is In the Park on Sunday, November 8; timings and prices hadn't been announced at the time of writing, so check before you go.

There's also a giveaway in play — four tickets to one of the events — with details expected via Guinness's channels.

For travellers, this is a neat snapshot of Dubai's autumn calendar. October and November are when the city's outdoor festival season properly gets going, and Dubai Media City Amphitheatre is one of its main open-air venues. Whether you're in town for country music, Halloween with your dog, or just fancy a well-poured Guinness in an unusually small pub, the Toucan tour makes a handy itinerary. Families are welcome at these events too, so it works as a full day out rather than just a pub crawl stop.
