Bogotá's biggest music weekend now has its full shape. Festival Estéreo Picnic, Colombia's flagship music festival, has revealed which acts play on which day for its 16th edition, running March 19-21, 2027 at Parque Simón Bolívar. With Travis Scott, Charli XCX, David Guetta, Arcángel and Avenged Sevenfold spread across three days, the daily breakdown lets fans decide whether to buy a single-day ticket or commit to the whole weekend.
Friday, March 19 opens with Charli XCX heading an electronic-pop-leaning bill that also features The Neighbourhood and The Prodigy. The undercard is unusually strong: Fontaines D.C., RAYE, The Avalanches, Boys Noize, Lola Índigo, Boy Harsher and Tiga all appear, alongside newer names like Depresión Sonora and Violet Grohl. It's a good pick for fans of alternative and dance music.
Saturday is the wildcard day, throwing reggaeton and metal into the same park. Puerto Rican star Arcángel brings the Latin urban heat, Avenged Sevenfold supply the mosh pits, and Venezuelan favourites Rawayana return with their reggae-funk-Caribbean blend. The supporting lineup stretches from techno heavyweights Amelie Lens and Nina Kraviz to Khruangbin, The War on Drugs and Kasabian - arguably the most varied single day of the three.
Sunday closes things out with Travis Scott as the main draw, flanked by David Guetta's arena-sized EDM set. Argentina's Milo J and alt-pop newcomer Sombr round out the top billing, with Cage The Elephant, Lola Young, Four Tet, Leon Bridges and Bicep deeper on the bill. If you want the biggest crowd and the loudest finale, this is your day.
Why should a traveller care? Estéreo Picnic has grown into one of Latin America's most respected festivals, and the announcement typically triggers a rush on Bogotá flights and hotels for that March weekend. The city gets a genuine economic lift from visitors flying in from across Colombia and abroad, so book accommodation near Parque Simón Bolívar or along the TransMilenio routes early. Even if you only attend one day, the festival doubles as a reason to explore Bogotá's restaurants, bars and neighbourhoods - La Candelaria and Chapinero are easy add-ons to a festival trip. March also sits in Bogotá's dry-ish window, though the city's altitude (2,600 metres) and cool evenings mean packing layers regardless of the stage schedule.
