La Petite Maison, the French-Mediterranean restaurant brand beloved from Dubai to the Côte d'Azur, is opening its first dedicated beach concept. LPM Sur Mer is set to debut at Jumeirah Beach Hotel in November 2026, translating the brand's Riviera-influenced cooking into a full beachfront setting.

The venue will be more than a restaurant with a view. Plans include an indoor dining room, a terrace, a relaxed lounge and a proper beach experience, plus a quirky touch: a private petanque court. The idea is a venue that works across the day, whether you're in for a long lunch, a sunset drink or a full dinner date.

Food-wise, expect the produce-led Mediterranean style LPM is known for, alongside dishes created specifically for the beachfront location. Regulars will be hoping staples like the warm prawns and burrata make the move, though the exact menu hasn't been confirmed yet.

The opening will roll out in stages, with the first phase launching in November. An exact date, reservation details and sun lounger rates are still to be announced.

It's not the only new LPM format in town. Cafe LPM, a more casual all-day version of the restaurant, opens on October 23 at H by Huna, shifting from daytime coffee into aperitivo, dinner and evening drinks as the day goes on.

The timing fits Dubai's beach club calendar. As temperatures ease, established spots like Be Beach, Cove Beach and Summersalt have already reopened for the season. Casa Amor has relaunched as Casita Amor, and Kinugawa returns at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab at the end of the month. For anyone planning a Dubai winter sun trip, November is shaping up as a strong month for beachfront openings.

Why it matters: LPM has long been one of Dubai's most reliable tables, and pairing it with a beach setting at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel - right on the strip facing Burj Al Arab - makes it a likely fixture for winter lunches and sundowner reservations. If you're heading to Dubai between November and March, worth adding to your list once bookings open.
