Dubai's dinner-and-a-show scene is about to get a lot more glamorous. Crazy Horse Paris — the storied cabaret that has been running in the French capital since the 1950s — opens its Dubai edition at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on Thursday, November 12, taking over the hotel's former Zabeel Theatre and turning it into an intimate 200-seat venue.
Two evening formats are on offer. The first, simply called The Show, is a 90-minute production featuring dancers, performers and a DJ, held together by a Master of Ceremonies. Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start, with tickets from Dhs400. If you want to make a proper night of it, The Show & Dinner stretches to around three hours and pairs the performance with fine dining, caviar and signature drinks. After the final tableau, the lights stay low and a DJ set turns the room into something closer to a club — echoing the late-night vibe of the original Paris venue. Doors for that format open at 9pm with the show at 9.30pm, and tickets start at Dhs900.
The production itself stays true to the brand's DNA: a cast of eighteen international dancers, trained under the artistic direction of Andrée Deissenberg, Crazy Horse Paris's Chief Creative and Brand Officer. The Dubai show is billed as a new production conceived specifically for the city rather than a copy-paste of the Paris revue, while keeping the precision and signature style the cabaret is known for.
Seating is tiered, from Standard up to Preferred and Premium (the latter two including a drink), and if you're celebrating something, the front-row VIP seats or a Crazy Suite take it further — the suite comes with a private VIP room, dedicated butler service and premium drinks throughout.
Tickets are already on sale for performances from November 12 onwards via the official site. Worth noting for planning: this is a adults-only, late-evening experience, so pair it with a stay or dinner at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm Jumeirah's west crescent, where you'll already be right on site. For travellers who've always wanted to catch the Paris original but never made it to Avenue George V, this is a far more accessible way to see what the fuss is about — with dinner and a nightclub finish thrown in.
