Every month, The Points Guy updates its valuations of the major loyalty currencies, giving travellers a benchmark for what their stockpiled points and miles are actually worth when redeemed. The November 2026 edition has a headline addition: Rove miles, valued at 2.05 cents apiece, have joined the rankings — immediately tying with Chase Ultimate Rewards points and sitting behind only Bilt points among the transferable currencies TPG tracks.

That's a fast rise for a program that was barely on the radar recently. Rove now links to 22 transfer partners, most at a 1:1 rate, including hard-to-earn currencies for US travellers like Japan Airlines Mileage Bank and Lufthansa Miles & More, plus familiar favourites such as Air Canada Aeroplan, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Qantas Frequent Flyer and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. You don't need a new credit card to earn them either — miles accrue from booking flights and hotels or shopping online, with a 1,500-mile joining bonus and another 5,000 miles after a first hotel booking over $500.

Elsewhere in the valuations, Chase Ultimate Rewards holds at 2.05 cents, Capital One miles sit at 1.85 and Citi ThankYou points edged up from 1.9 to 1.95 cents, helped by a 10% transfer bonus to Cathay Asia Miles running through November 14. Air Canada Aeroplan points slipped from 1.5 to 1.45 cents.

Transfer bonuses are the month's other big story. American Express is offering 30% extra when moving Membership Rewards points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club through November 30, and 35% to Marriott Bonvoy until December 10. Capital One is running a 30% bonus to Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red through November 20, 20% to Flying Blue through November 30 and 30% to Copa ConnectMiles through December 1. Chase has arguably the richest lineup: 30% to Avios through December 1, 30% to Wyndham Rewards and a hefty 80% to IHG One Rewards, both through December 3.

On the earning side, the standout offer is Southwest's cobranded cards, with welcome bonuses up to 90,000 Rapid Rewards points — and applications approved by December 2 count toward Companion Pass qualification even if points post in 2027. Big transferable-currency offers are also live, including the Chase Sapphire Reserve at 100,000 points after $6,000 of spend in three months and the Amex Platinum with offers as high as 175,000 Membership Rewards points after $12,000 of spend in six months.

For anyone who hoards points as a travel budget, this matters in a practical way: bonuses like Chase's 80% IHG transfer can effectively stretch hotel redemptions far beyond face value, and Rove's debut gives travellers a new free-to-join hub for reaching premium cabin programs. TPG's numbers reflect typical redemptions rather than best-case scores, so treat them as a planning baseline — and remember loyalty programs can devalue overnight.
