Regent Seven Seas Cruises has laid out the evening entertainment for its upcoming ship, Seven Seas Prestige, and it goes well beyond the usual cruise-cabaret formula. The lineup includes six brand-new original productions plus a programme that puts actual Broadway and West End performers on stage, with everything kicking off on the ship's maiden voyage from Miami on December 28, 2026.

The six shows, staged by the line's Prestige Production Company, each have a distinct theme. Viva Vedette tips its hat to the golden age of the showgirl, channeling the spirit of the Copacabana and the Folies Bergère. Riviera Luxe blends modern hits with retro classics in a nod to coastal glamour, while Rewind is an all-out '80s concert. Allegro takes well-known operatic arias and Broadway ballads and gives them a contemporary pop makeover. Tipples & Tales is a rum-tasting affair built around Zacapa, pairing maritime storytelling and live music with the drinks. The most unusual entry is Golden Hour, Golden Night, a two-part event in the Starlight Atrium: pre-dinner it's live music, Champagne and photo ops, then after dinner the same space turns into a chandelier-lit dance party.

Beyond the mainstage shows, Regent is expanding its live music roster across three lounges, adding an onboard DJ, a jazz duo and a string duo alongside the existing pianist and contemporary duo — a first for the line.

The headline act for theatre fans arrives on January 20, 2027, when The Broadway Experience launches aboard Prestige before rolling out across the fleet. The confirmed names include Kerry Ellis, the first British actress to play Elphaba in Wicked's West End production; Tony nominee Charl Brown; and Keri René Fuller, fresh from playing Elphaba on Broadway. Performances in the Constellation Theater come with a live orchestra.

There's also a talk-series component, Luminaries at Sea, which brings explorers, authors and award-winning guests aboard for conversations fleetwide — past names include singer Melissa Manchester and forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, whose books inspired the TV series Bones. Prestige's own speaker lineup is still to be announced.

For anyone considering this ship, the entertainment programme is essentially the pitch: after its Miami send-off and a run of Caribbean sailings, Prestige heads to Europe for the rest of its inaugural season. If your ideal holiday evening involves a proper show rather than background music by the pool, this is one of the more ambitious lineups at sea — and it's included in the fare, in keeping with Regent's all-inclusive model.
