Polish holidaymakers are getting a direct line to Croatia's southernmost city. Ryanair has confirmed a new route linking Warsaw Modlin with Dubrovnik, one of 29 fresh routes announced in the first batch of its summer 2027 schedule.
The service kicks off on 29 March 2027 — day one of the summer season — and runs through to 2 October 2027. Flights will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, using Ryanair's standard Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which seat 189 passengers. Across the full season, that works out at roughly 42,000 seats in each direction, a serious chunk of capacity for a single new route.
For Dubrovnik, the move deepens an already important connection. Poland has become one of the stronger inbound markets for the Dalmatian coast in recent years, and until now travellers from the Polish capital have often had to route through other hubs or rely on seasonal charter options. Modlin, Ryanair's base about 30km north of central Warsaw, joins a growing list of destinations served from Dubrovnik airport, which has steadily expanded its network as the city's summer season stretches longer each year.
The timing is telling. Running from late March to early October means the route covers not just peak July and August but the shoulder months too — a good sign for anyone hoping to see Dubrovnik's old town without the worst of the crowds. It also fits Ryanair's broader pattern of locking in new Croatian routes well ahead of the season, giving travellers plenty of runway to book cheap early fares.
If you're plotting a 2027 trip, this is a route worth watching. Fares on newly launched Ryanair routes often start low, and a direct Modlin–Dubrovnik flight turns a long overland trek through Central Europe into a couple of hours in the air. For Polish travellers, it opens up easy access to the walled city, the Elaphiti Islands and day trips across the border to Montenegro's Bay of Kotor. For Croatian-bound travellers more generally, it's another signal that Dubrovnik's connectivity keeps growing heading into summer 2027.
