Padel players in Singapore have an unusual window of opportunity: a pair of pop-up courts at Gardens by the Bay, with the Supertrees towering right behind the baseline. Padel at the Gardens runs from 19 September to 11 October 2026, and court time costs nothing.
The setup is part of UBS's regional Padel Series, which plants courts at photogenic spots around Asia-Pacific — earlier stops included Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour and a Sydney Opera House edition. Singapore's version takes over the West Lawn with two bright-orange courts, glass walls and black mesh, ringed by a raised platform with tiered seating so spectators can watch from a compact, stadium-style bowl.
Weather worries are mostly solved: the arena is fully sheltered and ceiling fans keep the air moving. Toilets are on-site, and equipment isn't a barrier either — though rentals aren't free, at $15 per racquet and $12 for a tube of three balls, both non-refundable.
Booking happens through the Playtomic app: create an account, search "UBS Centre Court at Gardens by the Bay", and pick a slot. Demand has been heavy — the schedule is currently showing fully booked, but cancellations do free things up, so it's worth checking back regularly. Getting there is easy. The venue is a six-minute walk from Bayfront MRT Station Exit B through the gardens, or around eight minutes on foot from Bayfront Plaza Carpark if you're driving.
