Shoppers queued for hours outside Zagreb's Arena Centar on Friday morning as Victoria's Secret opened its first Croatian store, giving local customers — and visiting ones — their first proper access to the brand's full range without travelling abroad.
The store sits in Arena Centar, one of the city's biggest shopping centres and an easy add-on to any Zagreb trip. Inside, the layout is organised by collection, covering the brand's signature bras and lingerie, sleepwear and its beauty line. Perfumes and body fragrances are on the shelves too, including Bombshell Eau de Parfum, one of the company's bestsellers — a mix of Brazilian purple passion fruit and Madagascan vanilla with a peony-heavy floral heart.
One practical service worth knowing about: free bra-fitting consultations, no appointment needed. Just walk in.
Opening hours run Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 9 pm — Sunday shopping in Croatia is restricted, so plan accordingly.
The arrival is part of a broader expansion by Victoria's Secret & Co., the US parent behind Victoria's Secret, PINK and Adore Me. The group now runs roughly 1,350 stores across about 70 countries, with a portfolio stretching from lingerie and swimwear to athleisure, fragrance and body care. Croatia's inclusion puts Zagreb alongside other Central European cities that have received flagship-style openings in recent years.
For travellers, this is a small but handy change: Zagreb has quietly become a solid city-break destination with a growing international retail scene, and Arena Centar — a short tram ride from the centre — now offers brands that were previously only accessible on trips to Vienna, Munich or online. If you're in town over a weekend, note the store's Sunday closure and instead check the smaller shops in the historic lower town around Ilica and Tkalciceva, which better capture the city's character anyway.
