Bilt Rewards has quietly added JetBlue TrueBlue to its roster of transfer partners, and the ratio is as good as it gets: 1:1. It's the 27th airline and hotel program linked to Bilt, and the company says it was one of the most requested by members.

Getting set up is simple. Link your TrueBlue account in the Bilt app or on the website, then move points across in increments of 1,000. Bilt Blue members need to transfer at least 2,000 points each time; everyone else can start at 1,000. Transfers land almost instantly, which matters if you spot an award seat and want to top up your balance on the spot.

JetBlue is now served by just about every major transferable currency. Chase Ultimate Rewards and Wells Fargo Rewards both move at 1:1, Amex Membership Rewards at 5:4, Capital One at 5:3, and Citi ThankYou at up to 1:1 depending on your card. Rove also joined days before Bilt and is running a 20% bonus on eligible transfers through Nov. 14, which temporarily beats everyone else's ratio.

So is it a good deal? It depends. TrueBlue uses dynamic pricing on JetBlue's own flights, so the points you need generally track the cash fare. A main cabin seat priced at $149 might cost 10,400 points plus $5.60 in taxes - roughly 1.38 cents per point, which is fairly typical for the program. Compare that with The Points Guy's current valuations of 2.2 cents for Bilt points and 1.35 cents for JetBlue points, and you're usually giving up value on a straight transfer.

Where it gets interesting is partner awards. TrueBlue points can book seats on airlines including United, Qatar Airways and Etihad, and those award prices don't necessarily follow the cash fare. There's no published award chart, so it pays to search specific routes - business class on Qatar or Etihad through JetBlue can occasionally be a genuinely strong redemption. That's the scenario where moving Bilt points across makes sense: topping off an account for one of those sweet spots, rather than transferring points speculatively.

Bilt has also hinted at more to come with JetBlue, possibly including Rent Day transfer bonuses or a Mosaic status match challenge, so it's worth keeping an eye out before you commit any points.

If you rent and bank points with Bilt, this is a handy new escape hatch - just use it for targeted redemptions rather than as your default cash-out.
