London's hotel scene is about to get a dose of after-dark glamour. Delano, the brand behind Miami Beach's legendary Rose Bar, is opening its first UK property in early 2027, set among the embassies and Victorian grandeur overlooking Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.

The 67-key hotel will be suite-heavy by design: more than half of the rooms across five floors are suites, many with walk-in wardrobes and private terraces, and 14 of them will look straight out over Hyde Park. London firm Archer Humphryes Architects is behind the residential-feel interiors, with what the brand describes as subtly theatrical touches throughout.

Food and drink look like the main draw. Paris Society is bringing Lana Lusa to London for the first time — a Mediterranean restaurant concept founded by Jessica Viveiro Kassim and designed by Pirajean Lees. Then there's Rose Bar, a reimagining of Delano's famous Miami Beach cocktail institution, with the Rose Bar Lounge and the Zodiac Room offering quieter corners for late nights.

Wellness gets its own wing too. The Source by Delano will focus on longevity and restorative movement, with contrast therapy, treatment rooms and a rotating cast of visiting practitioners and wellness collaborations.

Culture is baked into the property as well. Art consultancy Cramer & Bell has curated an original collection mixing British and international names, including South African artist Kimathi Mafafo and London-based artists Isaac Andrews, Hormazd Narielwalla and Gergei Erdei.

For repeat visitors, there's a members' angle: Delano Members Club will run events and privileges beyond the hotel, while its Delano Beyond programme arranges bespoke trips worldwide. Brand chief Ben Pundole frames the hotel as a place for discovery — conversations at Rose Bar, emerging art on the walls, a step away from the city's bustle.

For travellers, this slots into a stretch of London already rich with big-name hotels but short on true nightlife-led luxury addresses. If you're planning a 2027 trip to the capital and want somewhere that combines park views, a serious cocktail bar and a wellness floor under one roof, Delano London is one to watch. Book early — the Hyde Park-facing suites will likely be the first to go.
