November in Dubai means outdoor season is properly back, and the city's weekend lineup for November 6 to 8 leans into it hard — beachfront dinners, rooftop happy hours, a beach fitness festival and a bunch of new restaurant openings.
New tables to know: Kinugawa has reopened at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab with a Japanese-meets-French menu and a sunset-ready beachfront setting. Over on Palm Jumeirah, Casa 101 by Yannick Alléno has just opened at One&Only The Palm, with Mediterranean food and a waterfront terrace. If you're after a rooftop instead, Paros on the 46th floor of Taj JLT runs happy hour from 4pm (drinks from Dhs35) and a Golden Hour deal from 5pm — unlimited house drinks plus canapés for Dhs165 — with pool access from Dhs75 if you want to make an afternoon of it.
Music is doing a lot of the heavy lifting this weekend. Dubai Opera hosts Queen of the Night, a Whitney Houston tribute that's already played the Royal Albert Hall, on Friday November 6 — tickets from Dhs290. Saturday belongs to Deep House Bible at Skydive Dubai, with a deep house, Afro house and organic line-up including Ahmed Spins and Desiree from 7pm, tickets from Dhs125. Sunday night, Tinie Tempah, Ella Eyre, Professor Green and Sigma headline In The Park at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from 2pm (from Dhs156), with family activities and 20-plus street food stalls. For a late-night option, The Club at Little Mykonos at J1 Beach throws a Don Julio 1942 launch party from 7.30pm until 2am.
It's also peak Dubai Fitness Challenge — 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, free to join until November 29. Kite Beach's Fitness Village is the hub, with stand-up paddleboarding, Dubai Ride, Dubai Run and Dubai Yoga all on the calendar.
Food deals worth noting: Circle Café's new weekend all-you-can-eat brunch runs Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4pm, from Dhs74 a head. ZENON in Downtown has a limited white truffle menu (tagliolini, Wagyu carpaccio, tenderloin Rossini, even truffle ice cream) until December 5. And if you're staying in, LUFF's festive doughnut box with LUSH — nine doughnuts for Dhs55 plus a Dhs40 gift — is deliverable via the usual apps.
Low-key Sunday options: Reform Social & Grill in The Lakes hosts a 1km or 3km run club every Sunday in November with buffet breakfast at Dhs99 (kids run and eat free), and La Petite Ani in DIFC pairs with Reform Athletica for free Microformer classes on November 8 — just 10 spots per class, booking opens Thursday at 6pm, grip socks required.
