Christmas in the Maldives is no longer just a beach with a tinsel tree. For the 2026-27 festive season, Marriott International's luxury portfolio has rolled out distinct programmes across five resorts, and a Festive Early Bird Offer to sweeten the deal. Book between 15 September and 15 November 2026 for stays from 20 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, and you can pick up resort credits of up to USD 400 per stay, free non-motorised water sports, and complimentary stays and meals for children under 12 at participating resorts.
The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands — a 50-minute speedboat from Malé — is turning itself into an art installation, with French artist Alexandre Benjamin Navet collaborating with champagne house Ruinart on a bespoke Christmas tree, ornaments and playful installations along the beach. Its package covers daily breakfast at La Locanda plus New Year's Eve celebrations, across 100 villas designed by Kerry Hill Architects.
Closest to the airport is JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll, just 15 minutes by speedboat. Its 'Enchanted Soirée' leans on family-friendly discovery: dolphin cruises, nurse shark snorkelling, a big kids' club and seven restaurants spanning Nikkei to Mediterranean.
