A new table has landed on one of Dubai's prettiest stretches of beachfront. Nayara Dubai opened on October 1, 2026 at One&Only Royal Mirage on Al Sufouh, and it's doing something a bit different: pairing contemporary Levantine cooking with interiors shaped by one of the UAE's best-known fashion designers.

The kitchen looks to Lebanon, Syria and the wider Eastern Mediterranean, taking traditional food and cooking traditions from the region and giving them a modern, contemporary treatment rather than a straight reproduction. Expect the familiar backbone of Levantine cuisine — the mezze culture, the grills, the shared plates — reframed for a fine-dining beachfront setting. Fuller menu details are still being rolled out.

The design story is the real headline. Emirati couture designer Hamda Al Fahim, celebrated for her intricately detailed, feminine gowns, has created a bespoke feature wall for the restaurant that translates the craftsmanship, texture and detailing of her collections into architecture. It's essentially her design language on a much larger canvas — fashion thinking applied to a dining room — and it brings an explicitly Emirati creative perspective into a restaurant rooted in Levantine culture. That crossover is what sets Nayara apart from the many Middle Eastern openings vying for attention in Dubai.

For the resort, the launch adds another string to One&Only Royal Mirage's already substantial beachfront dining line-up, a property long favoured by Dubai visitors who want a polished resort base within reach of the city's clubs and beaches. For travellers, it means a new option for a long, dressed-up dinner by the sea, with the bonus of an interior you'll actually want to photograph.

The practical bits: the address is One&Only Royal Mirage, Al Sufouh, Dubai — easy to reach from Dubai Marina or the Palm by taxi, and roughly 30 minutes from DXB airport. Follow @nayararestaurant for menu drops and booking details as they're announced. If you're planning a Dubai trip in the cooler months, a pre-dinner wander along the resort's beach and gardens makes a good warm-up for the meal.
