Regent Seven Seas Cruises has laid out its bar and lounge line-up for Seven Seas Prestige, the new ship launching in December 2026, and the theme is clearly occasion-based drinking. Each venue gets its own concept rather than a generic drinks list, spanning Italian aperitivo hour, Mediterranean cocktails and a solid run of zero-proof options.
The headline venue is Galileo's Bar, a pre-dinner spot built around Italy's aperitivo tradition with a stargazing twist. Its Negroni Observatory will pour riffs on the classic, including the Comet Negroni (Italius, Beefeater and Noilly Prat) and a smoky Astronomer's Negroni made with mezcal, alongside the Dark Matter Espresso Martini with Amaro Montenegro. There's a night-sky mood throughout — Venetian Moon, Jupiter's Garden — and even a booze-free Orbit Zero Espresso Martini using Lyre's spirits.
Azure pairs its drinks with the restaurant's Mediterranean and Middle Eastern menu: herbal cocktails, citrus spritzes, regional wines and infused waters. Standouts include the Monastery Sour built on Bénédictine and thyme syrup, and a Beet and Pear Sour with fresh beetroot juice and egg white.
Outdoors, Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose serves open-air dining with drinks made for ocean views — a Pearl of the Riviera spritz with Grey Goose La Poire and Prosecco, a yuzu-and-sake Imperial Yuzu, and a Harissa Bloody Mary for anyone who likes heat with their sea breeze. Zero-proof picks here include an Orchard Fizz and a Dark 'n Spicy with ginger beer.
Beyond the three new concepts, the ship will carry Regent's usual roster: Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge, Observation Lounge, Connoisseur Lounge, the Casino, Pool Bar and Coffee Connection, plus cocktails and wine in the restaurants. And like every Regent ship, Prestige gets its own signature drink — a tequila-and-Italicus sour finished with egg white, agave, bitters and a Himalayan salt rim.
Why it matters: Regent is an all-inclusive luxury line, so bars aren't an upcharge — the quality of the beverage programme is part of what you're paying for. If you're weighing Prestige against other ultra-luxury newbuilds for 2026 and you care about cocktail culture or genuinely good non-alcoholic options, this level of venue-specific detail is a real differentiator. Bookings will open well before the December 2026 debut, so it's worth watching the early itineraries.
