Atlas Ocean Voyages has pulled back the curtain on the top accommodation aboard its upcoming yacht, the Atlas Adventurer, which is due to launch in late 2028. There are only two of these Owner's Suites on the whole ship, and the layout is closer to a private apartment than a typical cruise cabin.
The headline feature is the position. The suites sit forward on Deck 6, directly above the bridge — the same vantage point the captain uses — with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the bow. Each suite spans roughly 1,365 square feet and sleeps up to four people, with two separate bedrooms, two marble-clad spa bathrooms, a walk-in closet and dressing area, and dedicated living and dining spaces.
The design leans residential rather than nautical: Art Deco touches, mahogany detailing, marble finishes and furniture you'd expect in a home. Outside, a 126-square-foot wraparound balcony — reachable from both the primary bedroom and the main living area — comes with private seating and chaise lounges. Given the ship's small-yacht format, that perch above the bridge should make for some genuinely dramatic views when the Adventurer is working its way into a remote harbour or along a coastline.
Booking an Owner's Suite also means booking into Atlas's top tier, the Reserve Collection. That brings butler service, a 24-hour in-suite dining menu that goes beyond the standard offering, premium drinks, and extra amenities. To mark the inaugural season, Atlas is dangling savings of up to 20 percent plus its Explorer's Choice Inaugural Offer: depending on the suite collection booked, guests can pick between an air credit of up to $3,000 per suite, a hotel package, or enhanced unlimited Wi-Fi. Reserve Collection guests — including anyone in an Owner's Suite — get all three.
Why it matters: Atlas positions itself in the expedition and small-yacht space, where suites sell out well before launch and the accommodation is part of the appeal, not just a place to sleep. If you've been eyeing an inaugural-season sailing and want the most private option aboard, these two suites are the ceiling of what the ship offers — and inaugural fares with bundled air credits and hotel nights are often the best value you'll see on a new vessel. Worth flagging early, since 2028 itineraries tend to open for booking long before sailing dates and the top suites go first. Full credit to Cruise Industry News for the announcement.
