Consulate representatives will attend too, along with staff from the security authorities and the bombeiros, Portugal's firefighters, who can answer questions on everything from documents to emergency preparedness.
There's a community angle as well. Local groups and charities get space at the expo, which is a genuine shortcut for anyone who has just arrived and doesn't know a soul.
