The Chase Sapphire Reserve just hit its tenth anniversary, and Chase is marking the occasion with a batch of one-off travel rebates worth as much as $1,050 for cardholders who activate and use them — plus a meaningful upgrade to the card's DoorDash benefits.
The headline offer is $200 back on a $200 JSX purchase. JSX is the semi-private carrier that flies from smaller terminals in places like Dallas, Las Vegas and Phoenix, so a $250 ticket effectively drops to $50 if you can work its route network into a trip. One catch: you have to clear the $200 spending threshold on a single purchase, so a $199 fare won't qualify. First-time JSX flyers can also grab a $100 referral voucher, which — stacked carefully — can mean $300 off a $300 booking.
The other four anniversary offers run through late 2026: $125 back on a $500 spend at US IHG hotels, $250 back on $1,000 at participating Miraval and Alila properties in the World of Hyatt portfolio, $125 back on a $500 Sixt premium car rental, and $350 back on a $1,500 Wander vacation home booking. These are activated via Chase Offers and availability varies by account. Note that the IHG anniversary credit requires a different booking channel than the card's separate 2026 hotel credit and The Edit credits, so don't assume one booking covers all of them.
The more durable change lands on October 1: the monthly DoorDash credit jumps from $5 to $15 for restaurant orders, while the two $10 grocery and retail promos stay in place. With complimentary DashPass thrown in, that's up to $35 in monthly promos — roughly $420 a year — and Chase has now committed to keeping the DoorDash benefit through the end of 2029.
There's also a contest for the content-creator types. Ten finalists win 500,000 Ultimate Rewards points each, and one of them takes an extra 5 million for 5.5 million in total, plus a Chase Travel Designer. To enter, you post a 90-second video on Instagram or TikTok about a trip taken since 2016, tag @ChaseSapphire with the official hashtags, and submit the entry form by November 6, 2026. AI assistance in scripts, voiceovers or editing is banned, and public voting counts for 20% of the score.
Worth knowing for anyone weighing the card: Sapphire Reserve carries a $795 annual fee, but current holders earn 4x on flights and hotels booked direct, 3x on dining and 8x through Chase Travel, plus a $500 Chase Travel portal credit and $250 Shops at Chase credit at high spend levels. The lounge network now spans nine cities including Boston, Dallas–Fort Worth, LaGuardia, Philadelphia and Washington Dulles, with Los Angeles and Miami on the way.
If you already hold the card, the practical move is simple: check your Chase Offers, activate what fits trips you were booking anyway, and get the JSX credit used before the December deadline. Original reporting by View from the Wing.
