Ricky Gervais is heading to Croatia. The British comedian will play Arena Zagreb on 19 June 2027 with his new stand-up show, Legend, one of the first European dates confirmed for an arena tour that also stops in Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam, Zurich, Stockholm and Antwerp.

If you want to be in the room, mark the diary: tickets go on sale Friday, 23 October 2026 at 10:00 via Eventim Croatia. Given Gervais's track record — his last few tours sold out across the UK and set attendance records for English-language stand-up in a dozen European countries, from Spain and France to Norway and the Czech Republic — the Zagreb date is unlikely to linger on sale.

Legend kicked off in September 2026 with a run of sold-out UK shows and is booked through to the end of 2027, with more European and North American dates still to come. Gervais has called it his most personal show yet, and it's expected to be filmed late in 2027 for his fifth Netflix special, following Humanity, SuperNature, Armageddon and Mortality. The last two earned him back-to-back Golden Globes for stand-up comedy on television, in 2024 and 2026.

There's a charity angle too. After his Mortality tour, Gervais donated £2.43 million to animal protection and welfare organisations, and he's said a share of Legend ticket proceeds will go to good causes as well.

For travellers, this is a handy excuse to build a trip around a show. Zagreb in mid-June is warm, lively and far less crowded than the coast — you get the Croatian capital's café culture, the Upper Town and the open-air summer season before the Adriatic rush peaks. Arena Zagreb sits in the southwest of the city, well connected by tram, so pairing the gig with a few days in the city, or a onward run to Plitvice Lakes or the Dalmatian coast, is easy. Even better, the show lands in peak season, so flights and accommodation are plentiful — just book early for the weekend of the gig, when Gervais fans will be descending on the city from across the region.

Expect further Legend tour dates to be announced in the coming months if Zagreb doesn't work for you.
